New Posts Upcoming

Sorry haven't been posting up for the last week.
I've gotten some new albums from this year from some majors and I'm gonna give em a listen through out the week and tell ya what I think about these.
In the list is...
-Brian Eno - Small Craft on a Milk Sea
I've listened to Enos album and I'm so disappointed I'm not even gonna do a post on that. Instead I found a replacement I have high hopes for. Bluetechs "Love Songs To The Source".
-Armin Van Buuren - Full Focus EP
-KMFDM - Godlike single
-Black Sun Empire - Lights & Wires
-Noisia - Split The Atom
-NERD - Nothing
-Placebo - Battle For The Sun(Redux Edition)
-Röyksopp - Senior
So get ready for them.

Free Friday Part I

Every Friday I'm going to search through the internet for
some relatively new music that is free to download from the artist.
First up is MPI Project with their release "Evolution"
MPI is (by the artist discription) Electro / Techno / Breakbeat / Dubstep.
Download here(sorry it's from somewhere like mediafire, link on artist's site is down.)
I couldn't find his none dubstep songs from this album-go figure- on Youtube but he's got a nice house track on here and a chill-out song. Definitely worth the download.

Empire X

Free Friday Part II

For Part II I introduce a compilation from Adult Swim released earlier this year.
I really like Adult Swims free album downloads.
The compilation in question is The Adult Swim's Singles Program
Download album here

The album has a different mix of genres

You and I by Wash Out(Chill-out)

Oh My God by The Cults(Alternative)

On One by Freddie Gibbs(Hip-Hop/Rap)

Tron: Legacy Soundtrack by DAFT PUNK

Alright finished listening through this.
Overall; for a soundtrack I call it above average. Not the best for one reason.
As I started, for the first couple songs I kept going "Mass Effect? Mass Effect. MASS EFFECT!"
Yeah reminds me of just playing Mass Effect, which don't get me wrong Mass Effect had a great soundtrack to it. But going deeper into Tron Legacy's soundtrack it turned more Daft Punk with the modulated leads and such.
As for the exclusive tracks from Amazon and iTunes; I'd say only the one out of two from iTunes is worth it being exclusive and Amazon's was good.
I really liked this soundtrack...Mass Effect...

Tron Legacy

The Widdler - Origin

Well he has done it again. This album is some great experimentation on part of The Widdler.
Not like other dubstep artist he isn't afraid to try something new,
which we all know is something that needs to be done, so it was written.
In Origin he mixes the essence of dubstep into a electronica trance experience.

The Widdler - Dojo Nights

The WIddler - Shaman

RJD2 - The Colossus

Released earlier this year was his latest album "The Colossus".
He might have changed a bit from his earlier albums
but I don't know why some people are getting so worked up over it.

RJD2 - Giant Squid

RJD2 - A Son's Cycle feat. The Catalyst, Illogic & NP

An-ten-nae Presents Acid Crunk Vol. 3

Acid Crunk Volume 3 is the following of the very unique collection Acid Crunk Volume 2.
Released in late October this is one of my favorite music compilations. Dealing in the glitch, breaks, and dubstep.
This album is easily in my top 5 of the year.

Disrupt & Soom t - dirty money (An-ten-nae remix)

Knight Riderz - Turn It Up (Original Mix)
